Our Rosie is just a delightful child, but she thinks that her antics will win us over to seeing her side of things. This happens most often in the morning. You know the drill; you're maybe pressed for time and have a great idea of what to make for breakfast and so on... But your child has another equally great idea (at least in their mind). It might be the 2 liter bottle of mountain dew they saw in the fridge, or the Krispy Kreme leftover doughnuts in the box on the counter... You know you've been tempted to give in to them before.
But if you do, realize that this will open up a world of new behavior problems when your children don't get their way.
Telling your children "No" is a good thing. It doesn't mean you don't love them. It doesn't mean you don't want them to have good, enjoyable things, although you might think that is what they are saying, by their antics....
